Bioenergy
People have been using bioenergy therapy for healing purposes since ancient times. That universal intelligent energy has been known under various names: Odic Force, Orgone or Elan Vital. It gives life to the "subtle body" in order to feed the physical body and the spirit. Plato called this life energy "nous". Aristotle named it "entelechia", and Pitagora "pneuma". In the East, ancient Indians called it "prana", and the Chinese "qi". Contemporary scientists use the terms "L-field", "bioplasma" and "morphogeneric field". This energy evidently has a rich history; however, technology evolution has shown that this energy exists; inter alia, it radiates from the physical body and surrounds it.
The way how people experience the world around them is generally conditioned by the structure of the eye in the first place. Modern medicine has exactly defined which part of the spectrum is visible to the human eye; everything else beyond that spectrum is invisible, and yet it does not mean at all that it does not exist. Our reality was a rather blind and subjective one until the development of recent science.
New discoveries in quantum physics reveal an increasing amount of the undefined and the invisible, which is present in our everyday life. Dr. Wilhelm Reich is a German scientist, who discovered the existence of Orgone in the middle of the last century. Reich claims that Orgone (also known as prana, qi, chi, ether, life energy, creation essence) is the all-pervasive creative force in the nature, the invisible energy which fills the entire universe, creates the matter and life.
